Welcome to the
Friends of Headley Lane Park!

Our new playground is now open!

Big thanks to the ITV People's Millions Big Lottery Fund for the £50,000 which has enabled us to transform our run down play area into something amazing.

The rest of the money was raised with huge thanks to:

Dundry View Neighbourhood Partnership Wellbeing Fund,

St Aldhems Football Club,

Headley Park Church

and the wonderful community of Headley Park and surrounding areas who contributed in some way through our fundraising efforts.

About Us

We are a not for profit community group run by volunteers to help improve and maintain our park.

Started in 2013 by three local residents who wanted a better play area for their children, we want to promote it as a focal point for the local community.
We aimed to raise funds for new play equipment to update the run down playground and create a welcoming picnic area.
We wish to encourage more people to leave their cars at home and enjoy their local park and get out into the fresh air.
We are keen to promote sports and fitness to young children and would like a park that appeals to all ages and is fun for all.
